These lessons do count toward student attendance in each class. Any questions regarding an assignment, please contact your students teacher.
Our middle school students worked with kindergarten and preschool students while studying low and Feilds stages of artistic development. They worked together to create Valentines. Through this interaction, middle school students were able to see the various stages from scribble, pre-schematic and schematic stages of art. These stages indicate milestones in a child’s development as far as being ready to read and write. Stages also indicate fine motor skills.

Due to conditions of secondary roadways, the Milton-Union Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Our next scheduled Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 3:30-6:30pm. We encourage each of you to reach out to your teachers to schedule a conference to discuss the progress of your child and we look forward to seeing you soon!

We will be hosting a Valentine's Day Dance on Friday, February 14 from 3:00-5:00pm in the cafeteria. Admission is $5.00 and payable at the door. Snacks will be available at the door. Please attend and watch Mr. Lane do his best version of the 'Electric Slide.'
20 of our MUMS students were inducted into The National Junior Honor Society this morning! A ceremony was held in the gymnasium where students pledged to uphold the NJHS characteristics of "Leadership, Citizenship, Character and Scholarship." 'Mr. K' always puts his students first and is extremely organized and diligent in preparing to teach his science lessons each day. His classroom management skills are excellent, his expectations for student performance are extremely high, and his students are engaged in learning from bell to bell.

Congratulations to the Milton-Union Middle School Staff Member of the Month, Mrs. Julie Trucksis, who was named the December Staff Member of the Month! Mrs. Trucksis gives up her lunch on a regular basis to work with students and focuses on educating the whole child and assists them in becoming the best version of themselves. The Milton-Union Physical Education Department recently received a grant from the Miami County Foundation to provide curriculum opportunities that provide experiences with life-long activities. The PE Department selected nontraditional sports and requested the purchase of equipment to meet this goal. Thank you to Mr. Meredith for submitting the grant and receiving funds to purchase the table tennis tables that our students are utilizing in PE class this winter!
During the week of December 16-20, 2024, Milton-Union Middle School will be participating in Positivity Week. With this, we will host the following themes as we head into the holiday season:
