On Thursday, March 7th, 2024, all Juniors, including MVCTC Junior students, will be taking the SAT at Milton-Union High School. The students are expected to be at the high school at 7:30 AM and in their testing rooms by 7:40 AM and will be testing until approximately noon, lunch will be provided to those who want it. After the SAT students are allowed to go home or they can remain at school if they need to ride the bus home at 2:35 PM. Students will need to turn in any electronic devices as they enter the building. They can bring a graphing calculator, number 2 pencils, snacks, and drinks they can have during breaks. There are plenty of resources to study for the SAT, including a Practice SAT (PSAT) on Khan Academy (https://www.khanacademy.org/SAT) and link to their College Board accounts. For Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior students this is will be a virtual learning day. Their teachers will give them assignments as hard copies or on Microsoft Teams to complete during the day. These assignments will need to be completed by a designated time the teacher sets. Teachers will be available for contact in the afternoon after the SAT for assignment support for our students. Senior MVCTC students will report to their regularly scheduled MVCTC day. Any questions, please contact the MUHS Guidance Office at 937-884-7940.

Senior Parents, Due to major delays in the updated FAFSA rollout many universities have extended their deadline for completing FAFSA and committing to their college. We encourage students and parents to research deadlines for their school and contact their financial aid office with any questions. If your senior has not completed their FAFSA or you have questions about completing it the high school counselors are happy to help. Contact Mr. Moore or Mrs. Kurtz in the counseling office.

Happy National Counseling Week to our Milton- Union High School Counselors, Abby Kurtz and Benjamin Moore! National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. Thank you, Abby and Ben, for all you do here at MUHS! We had asked them some fun questions about themselves to share: What do you love most about being a counselor? What is something that students would be surprised to find out about you? What is one of your hidden talents? What is your favorite snack? Favorite quote?
