Over the past several weeks, our Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Katie Hartley, has been working collaboratively with teachers districtwide to review sample HS Spanish and K-12 Mathematics materials. Several textbooks and supplemental materials were requested from publishers and textbook companies for review. As teachers and staff members narrow their choices, we would like to gather feedback from as many students, parents, families, and community members as possible.
Please consider visiting the BOE Office to view sample materials and provide additional feedback for members of our selection committees. For your part, no preparation is necessary, and expertise in High School Spanish and K-12 Mathematics is not required. Curricular materials for High School Spanish and K-12 Mathematics will be on display and available for feedback and review at the Board of Education Office on the following dates and times.

Thursday, April 28, 2022, 8:00am-3:00pm
Tuesday, May 3, 2022, 3:00-6:00pm
You will be asked to provide feedback on all samples – two options for High School Spanish and five for K-12 Mathematics. Please expect to spend between 30-60 minutes reviewing textbooks and supplemental materials. Mrs. Hartley will be available to answer any questions and plans to provide paper forms to collect your feedback.
