If you were unable to pick up your student’s items during the scheduled pick-up times last week, there will be one final opportunity to do so. This Thursday, May 21st from 4-7pm you can come to the elementary and pick up your student’s items. We will ask that you park in front of the elementary and socially distance in a line in front of the building. You will provide your child(ren)’s name and a staff member will radio into the building and a staff member will bring your child(ren)’s items out to you. Any items not picked up on Thursday will be disposed of. Please e-mail Principal Henderson at hendersonlo@muschools.com if you have questions.

Good evening Bulldog families. I want to take this moment to thank all of you for your support as we transition to at home instruction. This is a challenging time for all of us and it will take communication to make our journey successful. Students at the elementary will not be required to log in during normal school hours. Lessons are broken up by day. Students who will be using online tools and instruction may access them through a link labeled “Online Lesson Access” located on the front page of the Milton-Union Elementary website. Households without the internet should have received a packet of work to keep your student progressing through the curriculum. Additional communication will be coming in the near future regarding work submission and obtaining new packets. Teachers will be available through e-mail, Remind, Class Dojo, etc. to answer questions you may have. We will make every effort to respond as quickly as possible. The MUES staff wish you all good health. Please let us know if you need anything.

Good evening Bulldog Families. There has been quite a bit of chatter on social media today regarding an attempted child abduction at school. That information is INCORRECT. A parent contacted the school this morning, at the M.C. Sheriff's Department's recommendation, to report an incident of attempted abduction that happened out in the community. A message was sent out to the Milton-Union Staff with the information in an effort to keep the staff aware and vigilant. At no time today were any of the students in any danger at Milton-Union Elementary School. As always, feel free to contact the school with further questions or concerns.
