Resources to Further Inform Building Reopening

Reopening Plan

The reopening plan on the district website has been gently edited on page eight with regard to face coverings for students in grades three through six.  In reviewing the plan, please continue to monitor the revision date for further updates.  The language below better reflects intent to provide a reasonable number of breaks and opportunities for students throughout the day to remove face coverings when social distancing can be more adequately maintained.

"Face coverings are required in hallways and classrooms. Teachers and staff members will direct opportunities for students to remove face coverings during breaks and when social distancing can be maintained. Where social distancing can be maintained outdoors, face coverings may be removed."

Schools PLP

For those students, families, and caregivers electing for a fully remote option, the following link includes several pieces of information regarding the instructional process and web interface through Schools PLP.   Students and families will work very closely with Milton-Union and Miami County Educational Service Center staff members for enrollment and set-up.  Meaning, we will work together to ensure students sign-up for the appropriate courses based on buildings and grade levels.  More information will be provided to students and families declaring their intent for this educational option as it becomes available.
