The reopening plan on the district website has been gently edited on page eight with regard to face coverings for students in grades three through six. In reviewing the plan, please continue to monitor the revision date for further updates. The language below better reflects intent to provide a reasonable number of breaks and opportunities for students throughout the day to remove face coverings when social distancing can be more adequately maintained.
"Face coverings are required in hallways and classrooms. Teachers and staff members will direct opportunities for students to remove face coverings during breaks and when social distancing can be maintained. Where social distancing can be maintained outdoors, face coverings may be removed."
