Parent Reminder

Parents/Caregivers we want to remind all families that keeping every student healthy is a priority for the district.  Please help reduce the spread of the flu and other germs by making good decisions about when to send your child to school if they do not feel well.

If your child has a fever today they should not be at school tomorrow.  If you have to give them Tylenol or Motrin to treat flu or cold symptoms they should not be sent to school.

School policy states that all children must be fever free (under 100.0) without the use of fever-reducing medications for 24 hours before returning.

If your child is vomiting or has diarrhea today they should not come to school tomorrow.

Flu season is upon us and it is best not to send your child to school with a compromised immune system.  24 hours free of symptoms (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) will help prevent further spreading of germs.
