We look forward to our first year of implementing our proactive behavior support system, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS). Schools are successful when they help children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. For this to happen, we must have a safe environment that is supportive and conducive to growth. By setting clear social and behavioral expectations, it is our goal to create the best atmosphere for learning.
Based on PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), our plan is in place and we are ready to train our students at the beginning of this school year. We look forward to the support from our Bulldog Families and look forward to sharing our success stories with you throughout the year.
Milton-Union Elementary’s PBIS System includes the following components:
D – Do your best!
O – Outstanding Citizenship
G – Good Choices
S – Safety First
0 – Silence
1 – Whisper
2 – Conversation
3 – Outside or Playground Voice
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email Principal Henderson, or any one of your student’s teachers.
