Fast Facts:
  • The 2016 graduation rate is hovering around 95% - 96%.

  • This year's graduating class earned more than $1.9 million in scholarships.

  • The K-12 facility continues to operate as one of the most efficient in the state.  The cost per sq. ft. for electric and gas averaged just 66 cents for the previous 12 months - our lowest yet!  

  • M-U has been awarded the Ohio Department of Education's Momentum Award for its value-added performance as indicated on the 2015 report card.
  • The K-12 REACH program has been nominated for eight regional Emmy awards.  This Straight A-funded project was developed and designed by reading specialists and personnel from PBS/ThinkTV.

  • The Straight A REACH with STEM grant has been approved for funding.  The $900,000 which is earmarked for second and third graders will equip students with individual laptops and access to 32 reading modules, all focused on nonfiction materials.

  • M-U High School participated in the Full Throttle STEM initiative sponsored by the Wright Patterson Air Force Base's Gaming Research Integration Learning Lab.  M-U's topographic sand table was a featured project.
  • A bus/van/trailer storage area is being constructed along Jay Rd.  This asphalted, lit and fenced lot will provide a secure area for the district's vehicles.
